HIANN offers many interesting programs to allow members to improve their cognitive, physical and mental health. However, many members have expressed a desire for a support group meeting where they can share the trials and tribulations of living life with brain injury and/or supporting someone with a brain injury. In response to this request, HIANN now offers monthly support group meetings in Reno and Carson City on the 4th Monday of every month in 2022. The Monthly Support Group Meeting will be held in-person and on Zoom.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:

• Survivor Tool Kit

• Nutrition and Health

• Organization Skills

• Caregiver Burnout

• Other topics of interest raised by attendees

HIANN will share resources and information gathered over the years and other ways HIANN can help you live a more fulfilling life. HIANN will provide light snacks and drinks so you won’t have to deal with dinner. All you have to do is attend and participate in the discussion.
